not my pov #3, 2020.
A fabric installation in the shape of a sphere, representing a globe, incorporating the shades of “blue, jade, bright yellow, green, black and white”, which are all the colors mentioned by people. The black, white, and grey material resembles “waves” (one of the responses). Waves are also said to portray “peace” and “calmness/satisfaction” (other responses). "Texture" and "Unity" were two other responses incorporated since the fabrics were of different textures and were all put together, representing people with differences standing together in a happy world. Another response was "lots of crazy patterns and grooviness" which can be seen in the fabrics. Lastly, different layers of fabric represent different stages of happiness. This analysis of the responses was completely free from any bias from my side, as I wanted the artworks to represent the viewpoint of other people, not myself.
